Welcome to
Smokey Timbers camp!

Smokey Timbers Camp is the perfect place for school, family, and youth groups to learn about the lake and woodland environments. Our environmental education facility offers a unique experience that creates friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Join us for an unforgettable adventure!

We're excited you're here!  Explore SmokeyTimbers.org and then get outdoors to explore our camp.  We offer facilities and programming for organizations and family groups to get back to nature.

Camp News!    Wow!  There's a lot going on here!

We have a NEW bench, and we couldn't be more proud of the girls that built it!  Thank you to Girl Scouts Bailey Johnson and Sophia Warzecha for their talents and workmanship!

Summer is HERE! Summer is HERE!

FIKA is BACK!  Join us on the Camp Deck for coffee, treats and visiting with old and new friends - our favorite time of year!

  • July 24th, 10 AM - GETTING TO KNOW YOUR SEPTIC SYSTEM

  • Are you planning on needing a permit for an accessory structure or shoreland project soon?  Property transfer questions?  Or just general questions regarding your septic system?

  • Please join us during Fika (coffee and treats!) on July 24, at 10 am, as we welcome Patrick Schultz of the Douglas County Land and Resource Department to answer these questions and provide best management practices for your system.
