Beekeeping for Beginners

Are you curious about getting started in the world of backyard beekeeping but just aren’t sure how to get started? Beekeeping is a rewarding hobby that can be relatively easy to incorporate into most backyards. This class will guide you through the steps of how to start your beekeeping journey. We’ll discuss the basics of equipment and space needs, establishing & maintaining your hives, and answer your questions on how to keep bees happy and healthy. This class is for people with little to no experience in beekeeping as opposed to established or seasoned beekeepers. Beginning the hobby of beekeeping can feel intimidating, but you’ll leave this class with an understanding of the very basics and the confidence to get your backyard apiary started.
